English Campaign with Prayaas Eloquence starteda“Spoken English Campaign” for the kids of “Prayaas” from the first
week of September, 2013. Volunteers from eloquence are taking classes on spoken
English twice a week for those kids.
Methods such as English story-reading and playing games like words-building are used to help the students increase their vocabulary of the language as well as help them get rid of the inhibition associated with speaking in English.
Placement Committee
Eloquence partners regularly with the Student Placement Committee to conduct Group Discussion sessions for the students who would be participating in the Summer Internship Recruitment Process on campus. These group discussions are observed and moderated by senior members of the Eloquence team, who ensure that a healthy and realistic simulation of the actual process takes place, and that all participants are given timely and constructive feedback. This helps the students prepare better for their placements.
Insight
Insight is the annual Marketing Conclave organized at IIM-Ahmedabad. Eloquence along with Insight conducted the extempore competition- Bindaas Bol, on 28th September, 2013 which saw a large number of participation from students ranging from class I-XII helped us realize the expanse of talent in young children, and gave students the confidence and motivation to stand up in front of a large crowd and express their thoughts, which is one of the most important driving force behind the establishment of Eloquence.
Public Policy Group This is a Special Interest Group at IIM-A. Eloquence has collaborated with this group in past to conduct events like "It won't stop until we talk" and "Ease vs. Ethics" where in panel discussions happened between students and professors. These events received acclaims from professors and students. Public Policy Group has always appreciated the ambiance at Eloquence and has regularly sent members to attend our session which have been beneficial for both the groups.
